The international group of companies “Civinity”, which operates in the field of real estate management in the Baltic States and Belarus, expands to the Ukrainian market. A part of the group was the Ukrainian company for management of the housing stock “City for People”, which provides services for the care of buildings in Kiev and Kremenchug. After the accession, the total living space occupied by the group is almost 30 percent.
“Development in Ukraine is our consistent step taken to implement our company’s strategic plan, which is to create one of the largest industrial and residential real estate management companies in Central and Eastern Europe. In the Ukrainian market, we see enormous potential.Compared to Lithuania, the Ukrainian housing market is markedly reliant on the back, the Soviet practice of housing management is still dominated by it, and only recently in the country a favorable legal environment has been formed to create and actively promote private housing management companies. Using our many years of experience in Lithuania and its neighboring markets, we hope in the near future for a rapid growth in Ukraine, “said Witold Sapozhnikov, general director of the Civinity group of companies.
The “City for People” firm, which has expanded the group of companies “Civinity”, conducts its activities in two Ukrainian cities – in the capital Kiev (about 3 million inhabitants) and central Ukrainian Kremenchug, which has about 225 thousand inhabitants. This Ukrainian company administers multistoried buildings with a total area of more than 1.4 million square meters, which is equal to about half of all high-rise buildings of the Lithuanian city of Kaunas.
According to V. Sapozhnikov, his company has attracted cooperation with the company “City for people” because the latter meets the criteria of the group “Civinity”. “Ukraine is a pioneering company with good reputation and high quality services. Using more than twenty years of business experience of the Civinity group of companies and introducing European standards of service provision and customer service, we hope to raise this company even to a higher level “, – assures V. Sapozhnikov.
V. Sapozhnikov also argued that plans to expand his group of companies would not end with this latest cooperation agreement. “We set ambitious goals for our group. Through the model of partnership cooperation or by concluding similar agreements in Ukraine, we would like to become one of the largest private real estate managers. At the same time, we monitor and analyze the housing market management market around the world, “says Civinity CEO.
After signing an agreement with the City for People company, all Civinity companies in Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus and Ukraine administer more than 6 million square meters of living space and 1.15 million square meters of commercial objects.
